Marc L. Fortier

Marc L. Fortier, 53, of Willimantic, husband of Corinne (Gaskin) Fortier, died Tuesday, September 12, 2006 in Windham. He was born July 10, 1953 in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada and had lived in Connecticut most of his life, moving to Willimantic 20 years ago. Marc was an active communicant of St. Mary Church in Willimantic and sang in the choir for many years. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Monica Edwards and her husband Daniel of South Windsor, a stepdaughter, Aimee Hull, a stepson, John Hull III and his mother-in-law, Jean Gaskin, all of Willimantic as well as aunts, uncles and cousins in Quebec and Rochester, NY. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Friday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church, Valley St. Willimantic.
