Madeline L. Hutchinson

Madeline L. Hutchinson, 89 of Sebastian, FL formerly of Enfield, CT, died Monday September 15, 2014 at Windham Hospital. We say good-bye to our wonderful mother, aunt and friend, Madeline L. Hutchinson. Madeline, born to Gladys and Simon DeYoung of Norwell, Massachusetts in 1925, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 15, 2014. Madeline was predeceased by her loving husband Kenneth as well as her brothers Edward, Simon and George. Madeline's life will be celebrated and remembered by her three children and their spouses Douglas and Virginia, Kenneth, and Gayle and Linda She is also survived by her grandchildren Jeff and Sarah, and great grandchildren Rachel, Melody and Lianna. Madeline graduated Brockton high school in 1943. While in high school, Madeline enjoyed sport activities and business organizations. After graduation, she attended business school before marrying Kenneth Hutchinson in 1946. Madeline lived with her family and worked in Enfield CT for many years. She and her husband retired to Sebastian Florida. Most recently, she resided in Mansfield CT. Madeline spent her leisure time painting, reading and traveling. Most important to her though was spending quality time with family and friends. The family is planning a private celebration of life. There will be no calling hours.
