Madeline M. Fredenberg, 67, of Lake Ridge Dr., Columbia, wife of Robert E. Fredenberg, died Thursday July 3, 2003 at her home. She was born April 17, 1936 in Willimantic the daughter of William and Lucy Kelley. Madeline was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed her friends, golfing and charity work. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Willimantic. In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter and son in law Lynn A. and Alexander Jones of S. Windsor and their children, Megan, Brian and Gary. She is also survived by 2 sisters Catherine St. Laurent of W. Hartford and Pauline Gulowsen of Norwich, several nieces and nephews and her best friend Pauline Lamot of Willimantic. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Sunday from 7:00 to 9:00pm. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Monday at 9:15am prior to her 10:00am Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church 99 Jackson St. Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. Her family suggests memorial donations to the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, 565 Ashford Center Rd., Ashford, Ct. 06278.
