Mabel Noheimer Obituary
Mabel A. Noheimer, 96, of Willimantic, CT passed away on March 21, 2021. She was born in East Providence, RI to Frederick and Grace (Eolin) Maynard.
Mabel was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. She couldn’t wait for baseball season to start every year. She also enjoyed birds and had a few parakeets, her current one being 15 years old. She also loved her shrimp lo mein on Fridays.
Mabel is survived by her sons, David and his wife, Gloria of Vernon, CT, and Peter and his wife, Sue of Chaplin, CT; daughters Diana and her husband, Theodore Eichler of Willimantic, CT, and Pamela Ward of ME; and her sister Laura Potvin. She had 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers Frederick, Amos, and William; and sisters Martha, Grace, and Hazel.
Mabel’s family will receive relatives and friends for calling hours on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 9:30am-11:00am at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. Willimantic, CT 06226. Her funeral service will be private. She will be buried in New Willimantic Cemetery.
