M. Lucy Sawyer

M. Lucy (Pepin) Sawyer, 89, of Windham, widow of Frank C. Sawyer Sr., died Thursday Nov. 1, 2001 at St. Joseph Living Center, Windham. She was born May 18, 1912 in St. David, P.Q., Canada, the daughter of the late Zephir and Marie J. (Arel) Pepin. She is survived by a daughter and son in law Shirley and Walter Landon of Chaplin, a son and daughter in law Frank C. and Gaile Sawyer Jr. of Seguin, TX., 4 grandchildren; Jeff Landon of Chaplin, Jan Roy and her husband Randall of Windham, Nelson Sawyer and his wife Margaret of Ft. Riley, Kansas, and Norma S. Engelmann and her husband Douglas of Seguin, TX., 7 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. Willimantic on Tuesday at 10:00am prior to the procession to her 11:00am Funeral Mass at St. Mary s Church, Valley St. Willimantic.
