M. James "Jim" Crickmore Jr. of Storrs, beloved husband of Barbara A. Crickmore of nearly 49 years, went to be with his Lord Jesus this May 7, 2013 and is at peace. He is survived by his wife Barbara, son Kenneth Crickmore and his wife Lisa, daughter Shawna Bazzano and her husband Rick, grandchildren, Jason Crickmore, Autumn Fredrikson and her husband George, Michael and Luke Bazzano and great grandchildren Ryder and Aubree Fredrickson. His is also survived by his sister Sandra Greenhalgh and her husband Ralph, two brothers in law, William Graham and James Graham and his wife Linda and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Marvin J. Crickmore Sr. and his mother Ivis L. Crickmore. Jim had worked for many years at Amgraph in Versailles and then at Dur-A-Flex in East Hartford. He then retired and worked part time at the UConn Co-op Bookstore. He was a Viet Nam veteran serving in the U.S. Army and was a recipient of The Purple Heart. Jim was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Coventry and loved worshipping his Lord Jesus and cared very much for his fellow Christians there, especially someone who called him James. There will be no calling hours. A Christian Memorial Service will be held on Saturday May 11, 2013 at 11:00am at Presbyterian Church of Coventry, 55 Trowbridge Rd., Coventry, CT. A graveside service will follow at 12:30pm in Storrs Cemetery, North Eagleville Rd., Storrs. In lieu of flowers, his family suggests memorial donations to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
