Lynda A. Kalinowski

Lynda A. Kalinowski, 65, of Columbia, wife of Robert Kalinowski, died Monday, July 8, 2013 at their home. She was born August 3, 1947 in Hartford, the daughter of Anna May Lyman of Storrs and the late Lindon H. Lyman and had lived in Columbia for many years. She had been employed by UConn, the Town of Columbia and the Beckish Senior Center in Columbia. Lynda was a member of the Ladies Guild of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Lebanon. In addition to her husband of 45 years, she is survived by two children, Lori Kalinowski and her husband Henry Fournier of Columbia and David Kalinowski of Ashland, OR, a brother, James Lyman of Columbia and two sisters, Jane Cichon of Storrs and Lisa O'Rourke of Columbia as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Nancy J. Easton. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, July 11th at 12:30 PM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 67 West Town St. Lebanon. Burial will follow in West Street Cemetery, Columbia.
