Lura Olson

Lura E. Olson, 96, of Coventry, widow of Ture Olson, died Saturday August 10, 2002 in Mansfield. She was born October 6, 1905 in Coventry, the daughter of Willard and Millie (Loomis) Green and was a lifelong Coventry resident. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Coventry and a member and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion in Coventry since the 1930?s. She is survived by a stepdaughter Lois James of Windham, several nieces and nephews, Willard and Joyce Watrous of Storrs, Harold Green of Coventry, Mary Green of Venice, FL, Earl and Lillian Watrous of Manchester, Donald Green of Glastonbury, Donna Kuhn of Manchester, and Dorothy Anderson of Belchertown, MA. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the First Congregational Church of Coventry, 1171 Main St. Coventry. Burial will follow in the Center Cemetery, Rte. 44 Coventry.
