Luis Antonio Mateo

Luis Antonio Mateo, 58, of Willimantic, died Monday Aug. 29, 2005 at Windham Hospital. He was born Sept. 21, 1946 in Puerto Rico the son of the late Pedro Mateo and Yolanda Santiago. He was a longtime Willimantic resident. Luis is survived by his companion of many years, Ruth Pentz of Willimantic, 5 stepchildren, 8 brothers, 4 sisters, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Wednesday between 6:00 and 8:00pm. His Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 10:00am at Iglesia Sagrado Corazon de Jesus, Club Rd., Windham, with assembly at the church. Burial will follow in the New Willimantic Cemetery.
