Luella A. Samson

Luella A. Samson, 81, of Willimantic, widow of Armand Samson, died Saturday January 12, 2002 in Windham. She was born May 26, 1920 in Occum, daughter of the late Joseph and Delia (Baldwin) LaChappelle and had lived in Willimantic most of her life. She is survived by 7 children, Fernand Samson of Storrs, Walter Samson, Jane Beaudry, Richard Samson, William Samson, George Samson and Bob Samson, all of Willimantic, a sister, Dolores Goodrow of Willimantic, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 sons, Kenneth Samson and Henry Samson and several brothers and sisters. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195, 1/2 ile south of Rte.6) Willimantic on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Thursday at 10:15 a.m. prior to the procession to her Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Church, Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
