Lucille Williams

Lucille R. (Vegiard) Williams, 82 of N. Windham, passed away peacefully Wednesday Aug. 4, 2010 at Windham Hospital. She was born Oct. 15, 1927 the daughter of the late Joseph and Alphagina (Plante) Vegiard. Lucille is survived by her husband of sixty one years Alfred E. Williams, five children, Marylou Santor and her husband Wayne of VA., Linda Gover and her husband Ron of VT., Cheryl Ouimette of Willimantic, Edward Williams and his wife Lorna of Coventry and Dawn Magnan and her husband Rich of Willimantic; eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, sister in law Lil Contos and her husband Tom of TX., many nieces and nephews and also her cat Tinkerbell. She was predeceased by four siblings, Roland, Wilfred and Albert Vegiard and RoseMarie Houle. The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Allen, Dr. Te, VNA East (especially Nicole), the Greer Wing Nurses and staff at Windham Hospital and Hospice for all their care and support. The Williams family will receive relatives and friends on Monday at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic between 10:00 and 11:00am with a service to begin at 11:00am.
