Lucienne Paradis, 80, of Windham, Connecticut, beloved wife of Norman Paradis, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Canada, September 13, 1936, daughter of the late John and Florida (Reindeau) Mongeau. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Lucienne and Norman were married on May 11, 1957 and shared 60 years together. She enjoyed traveling, lighthouses, UConn Women's Basketball, playing cards with family and friends, but mostly she loved spending time enjoying her family and her grandchildren. Lucienne was predeceased by her brother Roger Mongeau. Besides her husband Norman, she is survived by her two sons, Richard Paradis and his wife Linda of Danielson, Ronald Paradis and his fianc?e Amy of Storrs. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Allen, Christopher, Jonathan, Amy, Ally, and seventeen great-grandchildren. Lucienne leaves her brother Bert Mongeau of Virginia, sisters and brothers-in-law Leo Paradis and his wife Lucille of New Hampshire, Dana Jackson and her husband Bill of Vermont, Roger Paradis of New Hampshire, along with several nieces and nephews.
