Luciano Rodriguez

Luciano Rodriguez, 67, of Willimantic, husband of the late Maria Rodriguez, passed away Friday, April 11, 2008 at the Windham Hospital. He was born December 11, 1940 in Puerto Rico, the son of Leocadio Rodriguez and Regina DeJesus and had lived in Willimantic since 1959. Prior to his retirement he was employed for many years at UConn. He is survived by two children, Luciano Rodriguez Jr. and Maria Rodriguez, two sisters, Alejandrina Ortiz and Hipolita DeJesus, two brothers, Zacarias Rodriguez and Juan Rodriguez, his best friend, Hortencia Rodriguez, several nieces and nephews. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic TONIGHT from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Iglesia Sagrado Corazon de Jesus on Club Rd. in Windham. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
