Luanne Filupeit

Luanne Emma Filupeit, 66, of Danielson, Connecticut passed away on June 10, 2018 after an extended illness. Luanne was born October 12, 1951 in Putnam, Connecticut to Oscar W. and Hazel C. Filupeit. Despite physical limitations, Luanne was active in Easter Seals summer camps at Camp Hemlocks, swimming, bowling, and the Special Olympics. A graduate of Windham High School, she enjoyed cooking, sewing, plants, and cats. She is survived by her siblings Caroline E. Hayes, Susan M. Filupeit, Walter F. Filupeit, and Charles B. Filupeit. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 15, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Hampton Congregational Church, 263 Main Street, Hampton, CT 06247. Burial will follow at the North Cemetery, in Hampton. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in the memory of Luanne, to either Easter Seals at easterseals.com?or the Special Olympics at specialolympics.org.
