Louise B. Reed

Louise B. Reed, 77, of Mansfield Ave., Willimantic, widow of Hermon Reed, died Monday Jan. 5, 2004 at the Windham Hospital. She was born Sept. 18, 1926 in Wells, Maine the daughter of Burleigh and Etta Bridges. Louise was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by 2 daughters; Susan Nosal and her husband Rodney of Lebanon, and Bonita Pierce and her husband Robert of Willimantic, 3 sons; Glen of Florida, Scott and his wife Linda of Canterbury and Neal of Willimantic, 2 brothers; Harold Bridges of Wells, Maine and Casper Bridges of Drakes Island, ME., a sister Gertrude Sousa of Pawtucket, R.I., 7 grandchildren; Darren, Tresa, Kristen, Zeb, Shane, Joshua and Amy, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Friday from 1:00 to 2:00pm prior to a 2:30 graveside service in the New Willimantic Cemetery.
