Louise Barrows Jacobs

Louise (Lusk) Barrows Jacobs, widow of Harold Barrows and Morris Jacobs, died Saturday May 4, 2002 in Hartford. She was born July 10, 1939 in New York City and had resided in the Windham and Mansfield area most of her life. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Willimantic. Prior to her retirement she was employed for many years at the Super Stop & Shop in Willimantic. Mrs. Jacobs enjoyed bowling and was a member of the W.I.B.C. League. She is survived by her children, Sissy Grinsfelder of Willimantic, Anthony Barrows of Willimantic, Jake and Sue Barrows of Eastford, 8 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic with assembly at the church.
