Louis (Jim) Loyzim, 98, born May 20, 1917 in Coventry to the late John and Mary Marovich Lojzim died peacefully Wednesday at St. Joseph Living Center. He is survived by his three children and their spouses: Lillian & Gene Bergeron, Robert & Karen Loyzim, Richard & Michelle Loyzim; Four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Jim is predeceased by first wife of 40 years, Caroline, as well as his second wife, Lucy, whom he met while they were both volunteering at the McSweeney Center. He lived an active life in Coventry as a local businessman involved in politics, Little League, and the Rotary Club. He retired as a Master Electrician enjoying his time with a fishing pole in his hand and watching his beloved Boston Red Sox. Jim truly loved his time spent on Highland lake in Bridgton, Maine, where he spent his time fishing, waterskiing and enjoying his cigars. The past 30 years were spent with family and friends at Indianfield Campground in Salem, CT.
