Lorraine Milhomme

Lorraine (Vargas) Milhomme, 78, of Maple Court, Danielson, widow of Gerard "Jerry" Milhomme, died Tuesday March 30, 2004 at the Village Manor in Plainfield. She was born June 1, 1925 in Taunton, MA. the daughter of the late Alfred and Adrienne (Madore) Vargas. She is survived by 7 children; Nancy Kempes of Dayville, Roger Milhomme of Hampton, Richard Milhomme of E. Hartford, Robert Milhomme of Graterford, PA., Linda Sarette of Putnam, Julie Scott of Lake Elsinore, CA. and Edward Milhomme of Victorville, CA., 20 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren , 6 sisters; Adrienne Cichon of Willimantic, Theresa Wolchesky of Norwich, Patricia Dupuis of Norwich, Beverly Lance of Florida , Marlyn Kelehear of Hampton and Dorothea Loos of Danielson, 5 brothers; Lawrence Vargas of Canterbury, David Vargas of Willimantic, Wayne Vargas of Sprague, Glenn Vargas of Canterbury and Alan Vargas of Hampton, many nieces and nephews and her close friends Millie Daigneault of Danielson and Bea of Eastern Medical Transportation. She was predeceased by 2 sons James and Gerard Jr. and a daughter Diana Robinson, 3 brothers; Daniel Vargas, Alfred Vargas Jr. and Arthur F. Vargas , a sister Virginia Maheu and a niece Vanessa Maheu. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Thursday from 1:00 to 2:00pm with funeral services beginning at 2:00pm. Burial will follow in the Litchfield Cemetery, Hampton. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial donations to either the Killingly-Brooklyn Ambulance, P.O.
