Lorraine Butler Goodwin

Lorraine V. (Pintal) Butler Goodwin, 81, of Willimantic, passed away at Regency Heights in Willimantic on Thursday, July 26, 2012. She was the widow of Conrad Goodwin who died on June 18, 2012. She was born in Willimantic on March 20, 1931, the daughter of the late Andrew and Helen (Juras) Pintal. Lorraine was employed for many years at Electro-Motive and then UConn. She is survived by a daughter Gail of Stafford, two sisters, Mary Wonsik of Vernon and Alice Mott of South Windham, two brothers, Andrew Pintal Jr. of Windham and Richard Pintal of Ledyard. She also leaves a granddaughter and grandson, three great granddaughters and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Ronald A. Butler in 1999 and an infant brother Richard. Calling hours will be Monday, July 30, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Cemetery, 34 Club Rd., Windham, with assembly at the cemetery.
