Loretta M. St.Germain, 84, of Willimantic, widow of Henry St.Germain, died Tuesday October 22, 2002 at the Windham Hospital. She was born July 10, 1918 in Willimantic, daughter of the late Joseph and Flora (Pothier) Vertefeuille, was a lifelong resident of Willimantic and a communicant of St. Mary Church in Willimantic. Prior to her retirement she was employed for 38 years at the former American Thread Company. She is survived by 2 children and their spouses, Lucille and Peter Savino of Scotland, George and Marion St.Germain of Willimantic, a sister, Theresa Horn of Windham, 2 brothers, Louis Vertefeuille and his wife Anna of Willimantic and Roland Vertefeuille and his wife Gabriella of Rome, Italy, a brother-in-law, Patrick Harrington and his wife Janet of Windham, 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 8 siblings. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Friday at 9:15 a.m. prior to the procession to her Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church, Valley St. Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. Kindly omit flowers.
