Loretta A. Laprade

Loretta A. LaPrade, 68, of N. Windham, died Friday, August 8, 2003 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. She was born April 6, 1935 in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Walter and Blanche (Caisse) Williams. She is survived by one son, Michael LaPrade of N. Windham, two daughters: Michele Zwick of Torrington and Tammy Siravo of Simsbury, two brothers: Walter Williams Jr. of Pennsylvania and Bobby Williams of Newington, three sisters Margie Buchanan and Diana Scalise both of N. Windham and Patty Desario of E. Hartford, six grandchildren, a great grandchild and several nieces and nephews and her special friend, Randall Armstrong of N. Windham. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195), Willimantic on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am at the funeral home, with the burial following in St. Joseph Cemetery in Windham. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the Hoffman Heart Institute c/o St. Francis Hospital, 114 Woodland St., Hartford, Ct. 06105.
