It is with profound love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Lionel "Lee" Desrosiers on Easter Sunday surrounded by his loving wife Lillian M. Desrosiers, and his two sons, Brian Desrosiers of Roxbury Twp, NJ and Mark Desrosiers of Mill Valley, CA , at Hartford Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born on January 16, 1943, in Willimantic, CT, the son to the late Leo and Maryjane Desrosiers and also brother to the late Lucien J. Desrosiers Sr., and Ronald J Desrosiers. He lived his married life in Mansfield, CT. He is also survived by his grand-daughter Emily Desrosiers of New Canaan, CT his youngest Brother Dennis J Desrosiers and sister-in-law Ann M. Desrosiers of East Windsor, CT He also survived by his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Barbara and Scott Mitaly of Milford, CT and also leaves numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. Lee graduated from Windham Technical School in 1962, worked many different jobs as a young man and worked 35 years at Combustion Engineering, Windsor Locks, CT, retiring 20 years ago. Lee was the best handyman, with many abilities in wood working, construction, plumbing, electricity much he learned from his father-in-law Frank. His time was best spent with family at the cape, fishing in NJ with his brother-in-law "Jr" and visiting his favorite Beavertail State Park, Jamestown, RI. Funeral services arranged by Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic, CT Tuesday, April 29, 2025. Calling between 9am and 10am, followed by mass at 10:30am St. Mary's Church, 48 Valley St., Willimantic, CT, burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Club Road, Windham.
