Linda M. (Skewes) Elliott

Linda Elliott (Skewes) 65, of Columbia, CT died peacefully surrounded by her friends and family on November 19, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Linda was born on October 21, 1952 in Windham CT. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, quirkiness and Irish temper. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, quilting, sewing, gardening, fishing, birdwatching and trying ?new recipes?. She was loved dearly by all who knew her and will forever live in our hearts. She is survived by her husband, John Elliott of Columbia; her children, Amber Beaulieu of Willimantic, Jessica Beaulieu of Chaplin, Christopher Beaulieu of Windham; parents, Phil and Marion Skewes (Haggerty) of Mansfield; grandchildren, Billy, Hannah, Madison and Daniel and a sister Beverly Ingle. A private service will be held Monday November 27, 2017 at Potter Funeral Home in Willimantic. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Connecticut Audubon Society 93 Kenyon Rd.
