Linda Lee Cunningham

Linda Lee Cunningham, 68, of Willimantic, wife of Richard Cunningham Jr., died Monday, July 25, 2011 at the Windham Hospital. She was born July 12, 1943 in Willimantic, the daughter of the late Samuel and Shirley (Taylor) Bonafine and had lived in Willimantic all her life. She was in involved in several area civic organizations including the Moose Club, the American Legion and the Polish Club. She and her husband often cooked the "weekend breakfasts" at the V. F. W. She also enjoyed cats and playing Bingo. In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children, Arthur William Brousseau Jr. of Manchester, Michael Anthony Haddad of Willimantic, Pamela Shirley LaChappelle of Chaplin, Richard W. Cunningham III of Mansfield and "the baby" Johnny Cunningham of Willimantic, two sisters, Patty Clark of Maine and Pamela Skoog of Columbia, 15 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Joan Edgecome. Her family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, July 28th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic. A graveside service will be held Friday, July 29th at 10:00 a.m. in the New Willimantic Cemetery, Rte. 32 at Rte. 6, Willimantic.
