Linda Kay (Bigelow) Beaudry, 75, wife of Robert Beaudry, a lifelong resident of Willimantic, passed away pm July 22. 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. She died peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones.
Linda was born on February 28, 1948, to the late Eugene and Arlene (Fellow) Bigelow. Linda leaves behind her sister, Judy Lawless (George) of Englewood, Florida and her brother, George Bigelow of Portland, Maine.
In 1964 Linda married the love of her life, Robert Beaudry. Together they raised three children. After retiring from UCONN, Linda spent most of her time with her grandchildren. They spent time learning about Memories passions in life, music, movies, and SHOPPING! They enjoyed Saturday morning tag sales, thrift shopping and especially marshmallows in bed.
Linda’s smile, her contagious laugh, her kindness, and her devotion to family will be remembered by all who knew her.
In addition to her husband Bobby, Linda is survived by their three children, Robin Ings (Roger), Piper Beaudry and Mark Beaudry. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Caniika Higgins (Liani), Aiysha Ings, Paxton Ings (Cassie) and Sierra Ings. Linda leaves 2 great grandchildren, her peanuts, Arabella and Rayne; nephews Patrick Johnson and Brandon Johnson (Patricia). Linda will be missed by many cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and extended family.
Linda’s wishes were no calling hours. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Please contact oldest daughter for details.
