Lillian I. Rondeau, 83, of Mansfield, widow of Joseph A. Rondeau, died Wednesday September 10, 2003 at the Windham Hospital. She was born March 6, 1920 in Killingly, the daughter of Clarence and Bertha (Nye) Williams and had lived in Mansfield for more than 50 years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was very active in Scouting when her children were younger. She is survived by 4 children, Jane King of Claremore, OK, Susanne Leuck of Salem, Paul Rondeau of Lebanon, Mary Combs of Mansfield, 4 sisters, Gen Shippee of Dayville, Helen Causey of Sterling, Ida Manuilow of Brooklyn, Eunice Goodman of Plainfield, 3 brothers, Sid Williams of Southbridge, MA, Arthur Williams of Danielson, Donald Williams of Danielson, 8 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at the funeral home, on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Mansfield Center Cemetery.
