Obituary

Lillian Rose (Pinto) De Laurentis, with profound love and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Lillian Rose De Laurentis, who entered eternal rest on February 8, 2026, at the age of 77. She was born in Manhattan, NY, the daughter of the late Philip and Bridget (Atria) Pinto.

Lillian later made her home in Connecticut, where she lived a life anchored in faith and defined by family. She shared 55 years of marriage with her husband, Frank De Laurentis.

Lillian was the proud and loving mother of Maria Gratton (husband Geoffrey Gratton) and Michael De Laurentis. She found immense joy in being a grandmother to Alex DeLeon, Chris Gratton, and Julia Gratton, and her heart overflowed with love for her treasured great granddaughter, Selena.

Lillian was the very definition of selflessness. Family was everything, no exceptions. Her faith in God was the foundation of her life and guided how she loved, gave, and endured. One of her favorite scriptures, and a reflection of how she lived each day, was:

“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

—Psalm 118:24

She truly believed each day was a gift from God an invitation to choose gratitude, joy, and trust in His faithfulness regardless of circumstances. That belief was not something she preached; it was something she lived. Lillian also had a gentle, unintentional humor that brought warmth and smiles to those around her. Her presence was steady, comforting, and full of quiet grace.

Though our hearts are broken, we are forever grateful for the life she lived, the faith she carried, and the love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on in her family and she leaves us with the reminder to rejoice, give thanks, and to see each day as a blessing.

A personal and intimate memorial to celebrate Lillian’s life will be held.
