Lillian Anne Barrett

Lillian A. (Tardif) Barrett, 93, a long time resident of Coventry, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 12, 2013. She was born October 19, 1919 in Scotland, CT and raised in Willimantic and Mansfield. Her loving husband of 56 years, Richard Barrett predeceased Lillian. She enjoyed life to the fullest. She traveled with her husband extensively throughout the years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Lillian leaves behind her son Richard and his wife Joan of Ellington, daughter Penny Harvey of Marion Ma., daughter Pam Correll and her husband David of Mansfield, sister Annette Whitmore and her husband Roger of Mansfield as well as six grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren whom she adored. Four sisters, a brother and her granddaughter Dawn predeceased her. All who knew her will remember Lillian fondly. Her family will receive relatives and friends on May 31, 2013 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic with her funeral service beginning at 2:00pm.
