Lewis C. Rosebrooks

Lewis C. Rosebrooks, 76, of Willimantic, husband of Patricia (Fryer) Rosebrooks, died Wednesday Nov. 2, 2005 at Douglas Manor, Windham. He was born March 29, 1929 in Willimantic the son of George and Hazel (Hoxie) Rosebrooks. He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran. Lewis retired in the early 1980 s as foreman of the Grounds Keeping Dept. at UConn. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Willimantic and had been a member of the Willimantic Elks Lodge, the American Legion and the AMVETS. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 4 children, Nancy Paquette of Ticonderoga, N.Y., Kenneth Rosebrooks of Live Oak, CA., Shirley Krause of Lebanon and Lewis Rosebrooks Jr. of Dover, DE., and 3 grandchildren Aaron Rosebrooks and Cameron Rosebrooks of CA. and Kristen Krause of Lebanon. Private services will be held with burial in New Willimantic Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Please omit flowers.
