Leslie Macdonald

The Reverend Leslie Macdonald, 79, of Windham, CT, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 29, 2014. Leslie was born in Stoneham, Massachusetts on September 13, 1934. He was predeceased by his wife of 18 years, Audrey (DeRosia) Macdonald. He was a 1968 graduate of Boston University School of Theology. Reverend Macdonald served the Lord as a Methodist pastor for many years. Before his retirement in 1999, he ministered at Bethany United Methodist Church in East Rochester, New Hampshire. He will be remembered by all those who knew him for his compassion, his gentleness, and his knowledge of the Bible and of church history. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday July 2, 2014 at 11:00am at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. Interment will follow in Windham Center Cemetery.
