Leslie Gamache Obituary
Leslie Paul Gamache, 68 of Bozrah, CT passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday April 8th 2020 at his home. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph Alpha Gamache and Hazel Bell (Tatro) Gamache of Windham, CT. As well as his sister Ann (Stavinsky) Degray of Norwich, CT.
Leslie was a loving Husband, Father, Brother, Grandparent, Uncle & Friend. He was an avid musician starting with his first band in the 60's that included his brother Steven and friends Mark, Barry, Ernie & Ramsdell. The passion they all shared kept them close throughout his lifetime.
Leslie worked for over 25 years as a proud Local 1122 Union member. From the Newport Bridge to the Gold Star he will be deeply missed by his Union brothers. When he wasn't working he enjoyed canoeing, fishing and playing with his dogs. He enjoyed all sports but was a true New England Patriot fan through thick and thin.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years Deborah (O'Connor) Gamache; Children, Toby Mattison and wife Laura (York) Mattison of Manchester, CT, Tabitha (Gamache) Balnis and wife Michele Petro of Okinawa Japan. Joseph Gamache of Colchester, CT and Kayla Gamache of Norwich, CT; Siblings, Regina Crum of Columbia, CT, Ronald Stavinsky of Columbia, CT, Joyce Rinn of Lebanon, CT., Cheryl Hines of Columbia, CT, and Steven Gamache & wife Robin Gamache of Griswold, CT; as well as thirteen grandchildren and several Nieces & Nephews.
Graveside services will be held at Saint Josephs Cemetery in Windham, CT for immediate family members only. Celebration of life will occur at a later date.
