Leontine (Mongrain) Rouette

Leontine Rouette, 97, of Willimantic, wife of the late Paul Rouette, passed away?Wednesday January 17, 2018 at St. Joseph Living Center with her family by her side. She was born in Shawinigan Falls, Canada, the daughter of the late Wilson and Yvonne (Martin) Mongrain. Leontine?s family moved to Willimantic in the early 50's and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Leontine was a homemaker and a talented seamstress, she also loved gardening and knitting. Leontine will always be remembered as a loving wife and mother, she was a true lady. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph Living Center who were so compassionate in caring for her. She is survived by four children, Mickey Lussier of Hampton, CT, Marie Lutsky and her husband Peter of Beverly Hills, FL, Nicole Ezis of Roque Bluff, ME, Louise Kuryan and her husband Joseph of Windham, CT; Leontine is also survived by many brothers and sisters, 10 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday January 20, 2018 at St. Mary Cemetery, Rte. 31, Coventry, CT.
