Leonel Leo LaFramboise, 83, of Columbia, husband of Martha (Czelusniak) LaFramboise, died Thursday Dec. 15, 2005 at Windham Hospital. He was born March 24, 1922 in Canterbury the son of Adelard and Angelina LaFramboise. He was a 4 year U.S. Navy veteran serving 2 years in the South Pacific. Leo was a heavy equipment operator for several construction companies in eastern Connecticut prior to his retirement. He was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed bowling and gardening. Leo was a devoted loving family man with a wonderful sense of humor. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son and daughter in law, William and Nancy LaFramboise of Richland, WA., a granddaughter Leanne LaFramboise of Kirkland, WA., 2 brothers, Edward of Canterbury and Francis of Thompson; 2 sisters, Alice Raymond of Canterbury and Helen Boucher of R.I. and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 3 brothers, Louis, Charles and Albert and a sister Cecile Dapsis. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 9:00am at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic with assembly at the church. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
