Leo Z. Moore Jr

Leo Zachary Moore Jr., 64, of Manchester, passed away on September 16, 2012. Leo was predeceased by his parents, Leo Z. Moore Sr. and Vivian (Brousseau) Moore. Leo was a Vietnam era Navy veteran (1967-1971) and served on the carrier, USS America. Leo worked 34 years for the U.S. Postal Service, retiring July 31, 2011 with the last 5 years as Postmaster of the Willington, CT Post Office. Leo is survived by his brother Roger and his sister in law Suzanne, nephew David, nieces Cindy, Brooke and Dorinda, several great nieces and great nephews. He also leaves many other relatives and friends, among them, his very special friends James and Karen McWalter, Raymond Goulet, Nick Kormylo and his cousin Paul Brousseau. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to all of Leo's caregivers. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday September 21, 2012 at 11:00am at St. Mary's Church, 1600 Main St., Coventry, CT. Burial with military honors will then follow at St Mary's Cemetery, Rte. 31 Main St, Coventry. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity in Leo's name.
