Leo Bellerose, Jr., 62, of Willimantic, CT passed away on Friday, May 22, 2015 after a long battle with heart disease. He was born and raised in Willimantic where he worked as a bartender at several establishments, and was later employed by the Willimantic Housing Authority. He moved to Florida in the early 90's because of his love of the beach and all things ocean related. One of his favorite pastimes was fishing off the pier. In Florida he was employed as a manager with Outback Steakhouse. He moved back to his hometown of Willimantic in 2014. He was the son of the late Leo Bellerose, Sr., and is survived by his mother and stepfather, Harriet and Anthony Barber; three children, Katrina Thomas, Lisa Avery and her husband John, and Robert Bellerose. He leaves behind three sisters and their spouses: Ann and Richard Parker, Linda Desindes and Greg Michaud, Harriet and Raymond McKean; Leo also leaves behind three grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
