Lena (Bryant) Snow, 94, of Willimantic, widow of Royal Snow, died Friday evening Feb. 28, 2003 at the Haven Health Center, Willimantic. She was born Oct. 3, 1908 in Auburn, Maine the daughter of Archie and Lena Mae (Sargeant) Bryant and has resided in the Willimantic area since 1956. She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Chapel in Storrs. Lena was a reader of mysteries and enjoyed reading and writing poetry. She is survived by 5 sons; Donald L. Snow of Everett, WA., Alan G. Snow and his wife Bernice of Ledyard, David G. Snow of Willimantic, Stephen Snow and his wife Marion of Chaplin and Paul F. Snow of Willimantic, 2 daughters; Faith Hitchcock of S.Portland, ME., and Rosemary Michaud and her husband Harold of Willimantic, a brother John Bryant of Michigan, 17 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, a great great grandson and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Thomas H. Snow and 5 sisters. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Tuesday from 2:00 to 3:00pm with the funeral service at 3:00.
