Lawrence J. Mason

Lawrence J. Mason, 89, formerly of Hampton, died Sunday Dec. 19, 2004 at Westview Convalescent Center in Dayville. He was born Dec. 4, 1915 in New York, N.Y. Lawrence was a World War 2 U.S. Army veteran serving in the North African Campaign and in European Theatre Operations. He is survived by his sister and brother in law, Dorothy and Stanley Ciosek of Barrington, R.I. A Memorial Service will be held on Jan. 4, 2005 at 2:00pm at the Hampton Congregational Church, Main St. Hampton. There will be no calling hours. Burial was private in the Storrs Cemetery.
