Laurette Michaud Dubreuil

Laurette (Roberts) Michaud Dubreuil, 98, of Scotland, passed away on Saturday, July 27,2013. She was born in Lowell, MA on February 2, 1915 the eighth of twelve children of the late Charles and Bridget (Durand) Roberts. She was employed with Electro Motive Manufacturing Co. and American Thread Co. in Willimantic. She is survived by her daughter Linda Surridge and son-in-law Stephen currently living in NJ; daughter-in-law Beverly Michaud of Hampton, son in law Joseph Gauvin of Scotland, grandsons Raymond Michaud of Lebanon and wife Dianne (recently departed), Gerald Michaud of Hartford, Theodore and his wife Sue Michaud of Canterbury, Douglas Michaud of Hampton and Steven Surridge of Canterbury; granddaughters Michelle Kolomyjec and her husband Romeo of Mansfield, Renee Boyden and her husband Kenneth of Scotland and Kimberly and her husband Mathew Manthorne of Eastford. She is also survived by her brother Omar Roberts of Windham and 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren who all are in CT. She was predeceased by her husband Roland Dubreuil, her sons Raymond and Roger Michaud, daughter Rose Marie Gauvin, her sisters Jeannette Smith, Lucy Asselin, Rita Babbitt, Louise Roberts and her brothers Arthur, Lucien, Armand, Ernest, Charles, and Raymond Roberts. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday July 30th between 9:30 and 10:30am at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic prior to her 11:00am Funeral Mass at St. Philip The Apostle Church, Rt. 44, Ashford.
