Laura L Ouimette

Laura L. Ouimette, 58, of Mansfield Center, wife of J. Albert Ouimette, died Sunday September 15, 2002 at the Windham Hospital. She was born June 20, 1944 in Willimantic, the daughter of the late Russell and Muriel (McCollum) Weeks and had lived in Mansfield for the past 5 years. She was employed at the cafeteria at E. O. Smith High School in Storrs and as a crossing guard at Natchaug School in Willimantic. Both through her work and volunteerism she demonstrated her love for her community and it?s children. In addition to her husband she is survived by 3 daughters and 2 sons-in-law, Launa and James Trinque of Union, Audrey and Scott Barrows of Mansfield, Jennifer Wylie of Willimantic, 6 grandchildren, Jennifer, Sean, Ashley, Samantha, Jonathan and Daniel, a brother Ronald Weeks of NJ, 2 sisters, Joyce Bindrich of CO, and Gloria Gordon of Willimantic, several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 1600 Main St., Coventry. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Club Rd. Windham. There are no calling hours. The Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic assisted with arrangements.
