L. Marie Fandell

L. Marie (Rivard) Fandell, 72, of East Hartford, formerly of Willimantic, died Monday May 3, 2004 at home. She was born Aug. 14, 1931 in Willimantic and has resided in E. Hartford for the last 8 years. She had been employed by the Electro-Motive Manufacturing Co. She is survived by her son James Fandell Jr. and his wife Kathy of Hampton, 3 grandchildren; Justine Fandell, Jose Arriaga and Mario Arriaga , 2 great grandchildren Makayla and Jalen Arriaga, a brother Norman Rivard and a sister Shirley. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Her funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 10:30am with burial following in the New Willimantic Cemetery.
