Kiana Mikayla Judd

January 13, 2000 — July 18, 2015

Kiana Mikayla Judd passed unexpectedly on July 18, 2015 at the young age of 15 in Lebanon, CT. Kiana is predeceased by her mother Laurie (Bender) Judd, grandfather John Bender, Sr. & grandmother Betty-Jo Tuttle. She is survived by her father Daniel, her sister Kaitly, and her brothers Kyle & Kristopher. She is remembered by Tammy Simmons, Jason and Kyle Chilly, her brother in law Edward LaPointe, her grandparents Marylou and Robert Delmastro, Robert & June Judd, Susan Bender, & Boyd Tuttle. She is also remembered by aunts and uncles, Mark Judd & Zaundra Dancosse, Lisa & Steve Gould, John & Jamie Bender & Carl & Anna Bender. She will be missed by her only niece, Addison LaPointe. Kiana was born on January 13, 2000 and soon found her way into the lives of Daniel and Laurie. She grew into a sun tanned little spit-fire with incredible, long chestnut hair. She was raised in a peaceful rural neighborhood with horses, goats, dogs and many friends. Kiana was an outrageously talented musician, who had little formal teaching and yet was often found showing others how to play guitar. It was simply the one possession she never left home without. She came to be able to write her own songs and she began singing as well. She was also a gifted artist, in her love of painting and sketching. It just came natural to her. She had an uncanny ability to accept others and to love people of all shapes & sizes without an ounce of judgment or dislike. She spoke out for those in need, and was a truly brave soul in standing up for all those that lacked the courage to do so. At only 15, she made a vast difference in the lives of many. Kiana was on a journey to find a level of peace that simply could not be found on this earth. Her soul was just too big for this world. Her smile will live on and be remembered wherever the sound of a guitar can be heard far and wide. A private funeral service and burial will be held at the family's convenience.
