Kenneth E. Young

Kenneth E. Young, 47, of Windham, died Friday, July 27, 2012 at his home. He was born March 29, 1965 in Willimantic, the son of Dick and Doris (Drouin) Young of Columbia. Ken grew up in Columbia and had lived in Windham the past nine years. He was a Windham Regional Technical School graduate and was employed as a carpenter for many years. He loved animals, fishing and just being on the lake. In addition to his parents he is survived by a brother, James Young of Columbia, a niece, Courtney Young and a nephew Christopher Young, both of Columbia, many aunts, uncles, cousins and his dogs, Red and Tank. His family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 11:00am at St. Columba Church, Jct. Rte.66 and Rte. 87, Columbia with assembly at the church. Burial will be private.
