Kenneth L. Walden

Kenneth L. Walden, 91, of Lebanon, husband of the late Tessie (Prokopowicz) Walden, died at Harrington Court Genesis Healthcare in Colchester. He was born April 21, 1914 in Waterford, the son of Edward and Cora (Chapman) Walden. In 1988, he retired as the Highway Foreman for the Town of Lebanon and was previously employed in the same capacity for the State of CT. until his retirement from that position in 1973. Mr. Walden was a U.S. Army Veteran discharged with the rank of Sergeant and was a life member of the Gold Star Post #1724 VFW in Willimantic. He is survived by a son and daughter in law, John and Kathy Walden of Lebanon and several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, West Town St., Lebanon. Burial will follow in the New Lebanon Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
