Kelsey Dunnack (née Aubert), 36, passed away on March 12, 2025, in Hartford, Connecticut. Born on November 15, 1988, in San Diego, California, Kelsey brought warmth and joy to all who knew her.
Kelsey was a beloved member of her community, known for her vibrant and outgoing personality. She dedicated much of her career to the service industry, where she formed lasting connections with colleagues and customers alike. She began her career at Fred's Brick House Pizza, where she worked for many years before finding her second family at That Breakfast Place. She built deep friendships with her coworkers and cherished the relationships she formed with her regular customers-many of whom became like family.
Kelsey never met a stranger. She was an immediate ray of sunshine when she walked into a room. She spread joy and laughter to her customers with her (sometimes terrible) jokes! She had an infectious laugh and a beautiful smile that could brighten any room. Her presence was a source of joy and comfort to those around her. Above all else, Kelsey's greatest love was for her beautiful daughter, Natalie.
She is survived by her mother, Brenda Coleman (Joe); father, James Kelsey Aubert; daughter, Natalie Eve Rodriguez; paternal grandmother, Eva Aubert; aunt Dawn Lynn Abelin; step-brothers Jason Maez, Robert Coleman, and Joshua Coleman; special niece Carlee Faye Coleman; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother Christopher James Aubert; maternal grandparents William Roy Johnson and Joan Johnson Forrester; paternal grandfather Donald Frances Aubert; uncles Michael Roy Johnson, Rodney Abelin, and Robert Epperson; aunt Cathy Epperson; and cousin Joshua Johnson.
