Keith Alan Cormier

Keith Alan Cormier, age 64, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was born on February 26, 1953 in Portland, Maine. He was a long time resident of Scotland, Connecticut, but recently retired in Perkinsville, Vermont. Keith was the director of public works for the town of Andover for many years. Following that he was a private contractor from which he recently retired. Keith loved spending time with his 11 grandchildren, his dogs, fishing, boating, hunting, and taking long scenic drives. He was a former officer of the Willimantic Moose club and an active member of the Elks Club. He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Theresa Cormier, and brother Robert Cormier, all of Maine. Keith is survived by his loving wife Catherine Lausier Cormier, son Scott and wife Melissa Cormier, their four children Megan, Taylor, Gracie, and Zack, daughter Tricia and husband Michael Kelly, their children Christopher, Madison and Blake, daughter Michelle and husband Shawn White, their children Talon and Aubri, daughter Sara Cormier and Fianc? Ben Shipton, their children Andrew and Paislee. He is also survived by his sister Dorna Cormier Crean and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, July 24, 2017 at 12:30 pm, Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St, Willimantic, CT. The family will receive family and friends one hour prior at 11:30 am. Burial will follow at the South Chaplin Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will follow the graveside service.
