Kathryn Whitehouse Sycz, 69, of Ashford, CT passed away on February 17, 2024. She was born in Stafford, CT, daughter of the late Gordon P. and Priscilla (Buck) Whitehouse.
Kathryn was proud of her role as a caretaker to her clients as a developmental services worker with the State of CT, a career that she worked until her retirement, and to her mother.
She is survived by her husband on 36 years, Michael Sycz, son Anthony “Tony” Sycz and his wife Kendra, grandchildren Gianna Fichera and Caleb Sycz, and nine siblings. Kathryn was predeceased by her daughter Aimee Sycz and one brother.
Her family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 9:00am until her celebration of life service at 11:00am at Living Proof Church, 38 Pompey Hollow Rd. Ashford, CT 06278. The service can be attended virtually at https://www.youtube.com/@LivingProofChurch/streams or https://m.facebook.com/LivingProofAshford Her burial will be at a later date
