Kathleen V. (Noonan) Benton, 75, of Mansfield, CT passed away on July 8, 2022. She was born on September 17, 1946 in Hartford, CT, the daughter of the late Patrick and Maureen (Russell) Noonan.
She is survived by her sons, Shawn P. Noonan and his fiancé, Kimberley Knowlton of Mansfield, CT and Michael J. Benton of Marlborough, CT; a granddaughter and grandson both of Marlborough, CT; brother Bobby Noonan of Hartford, CT; a brother-in-law and his daughters and son William Grogan, Billy and his wife Tammy Grogan, Kelly Grogan Leblanc, Patty Grogan, and Doreen Grogan all of Willimantic, CT; along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother John “Jackie” Noonan and sister Maureen “Moe” (Noonan) Grogan.
Kathleen worked at Electric Boat for 20 years. She loved her family, her friends, and her dog Jake. She enjoyed gathering with her friends and family to play cards and spending time with her dog. She was an amazing and strong mother and a great woman in general. Kathleen will be loved always and forever.
Her services will be held at a later date.
