Kathleen M. Kaechele

Kathleen M. Kaechele, 56, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully Monday, April 21, 2008 at home with family and friends at her side. She was born December 20, 1951 in Stafford Springs, the daughter of James and Gertrude George and spent most of her life in the Willimantic area. Kathleen married her husband John in December of 1980 and was a devoted wife, homemaker and mother. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed feeding the wild birds. Kathleen enjoyed tag sales, flea markets, car cruises and car shows. She also loved traveling in their motor home with friends. Kathleen is survived by her husband of 27 years, her son Jason J. Kuhn of Uncasville and his companion Sue Bakowski and a granddaughter Lillie Bell Kuhn. She is also survived by her grandmother Vina Stimpson, 6 siblings, Elizabeth George and Deborah Morley, both of Willimantic, Shirley Miner of Hobe Sound, FL, Loretta Tomer of Keene, NH, James George Jr. of Lebanon and Joseph George of Deland, FL. She is also survived by a surrogate daughter and her family, Dave, Christal, Alexis and Riley Perham of Colchester. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the Windham Center Cemetery.
