Katherine "Kitty" Light

Katherine L. "Kitty" Light, 81, of Windham, died Friday February 11, 2005 in Windham. She was born January, 20, 1924 in Windham, the daughter of William and Ida (Tompkins) Light and was a lifelong resident. Prior to her retirement she was employed by the State of Connecticut for 30 years, 23 of which she spent at the University of Connecticut Library. She is survived by several cousins. A graveside service will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. in the Windham Center Cemetery with the Reverend James Beesley officiating. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 238 West Town Street, Norwich, CT 06360. Arrangements are through the Potter Funeral Home, Willimantic.
