Katherine Elliott

Katherine Elliott, beloved wife of Maurice Elliott of Mansfield, CT, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 1, 2014. She was born at home in Lebanon, CT, daughter of the late Frederick and Michelena "Lena" (Beilious) Kozin. She was predeceased by all of her seven siblings. Residing in Mansfield nearly all her life, married to "Moe" for over 62 years, they shared together a deep and passionate love for their family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by son and daughter in law Randy and Jill Elliott, of Windham Center, granddaughter and husband Ashley and Patrick Foley and their daughter Anniston Grace of North Andover, Massachusetts. Kay's great granddaughter, Anniston brought her great joy. Kay was passionate about her family, home, cooking, baking and crafts. She always made things special even right down to the simplest things in her daily life. She was a dedicated AT&T Customer Service Representative which she truly enjoyed and made many lifelong friends. Besides her family she leaves behind her brother in law Raymond Elliott, sisters in law Vicky Forkey, Rita Elliott, Gertrude Kozin, her extended family Edward and Judith Shay, Jeffrey, Jessica and their daughter Emmy Lou Shay, Eric Shay, many nieces and nephews and several close friends. There will be no calling hours and a private burial service will be held in the summer. She will be missed dearly by those she left behind.
